EnviroSense

Integrated Environmental Monitoring, Benchmarking and Corrective Action Management System

EnviroSense is an IPAC-led digital system designed to strengthen environmental safety surveillance in healthcare facilities. It links environmental measurements to approved benchmarks, quality review, corrective action and objective verification through a closed-loop workflow.

Core workflow

Measurement → benchmark assessment → QA/QC → corrective action → verification → closure → reporting.

Phase 1 demonstrated the feasibility of monitoring HVAC and air-quality parameters, including air changes per hour, room pressure differential, airflow direction, temperature and relative humidity. Broader environmental modules remain subject to institutional validation and governance approval.

Responsible AI in Healthcare and Infection Prevention

This programme investigates how artificial intelligence can support surveillance, clinical decisions and infection prevention without weakening professional judgment, patient rights or institutional accountability.

Artificial Intelligence Law and Governance in Nigeria

This book examines the legal and institutional questions raised by AI-assisted decision-making in Nigeria. It connects constitutional rights, sectoral regulation and practical accountability across healthcare, financial services, legal practice and public administration. Its formal Nigerian launch is scheduled for December 2026.

Core contribution

The book advances a Standard of Reasoned Justification: a framework for testing whether an AI-influenced decision can be explained, reviewed and defended against relevant legal and ethical duties.
